Literacy: My literacy goal is to write a chapter story on my netbook.
I believe I am well on the way to achieving this goal, I have completed two and a half chapters and have about 8 to go, I will continue this goal untill it is completed.
Mathematics: My maths goal is to learn how to multiply large numbers in my head.
My maths goal has been a hard one to achieve but i have improved my skills, but not being able to do it in my head.
Personal My personal goal is to be able to maintain a clean locker
Most of the time I have been able to do this, but recently in Inquiry things have been hectic, but I have been able to keep my locker clean most of the time.

This year is flying past. 5 weeks left till pure FREEDOM!!! With the netbooks we have been able to do awesome stuff like make our friends look funny in photos and just mess around. With only a few weeks left the pressure is on to be the best of our ability and work as hard as we can for reports. Another thing that signifies somesort of freedom. End of Year Reports, BUT reports arn't cool. Not one bit coz they can be scary. With netbooks this year some of us can get great grades because the 5/6's have to work together so the netbooks arn't just great for us 6's. End of year disco will be absolutely unique and wicked. RockStar All night! but there is only 2 hours to enjoy it! Best of luck to the 6's of 2010.

"Where did you go? Write about the first family holiday that pops into your head."
Each year we go to Adelaide for sport, sometimes for my mum, or sometimes my older sister. There is always a tradition to go one day early so the extra day is for the beach and shopping. We normally go to Harbour Town first and then the Glenelg beach. The family vacation took place here, it was really sunny and warm, at Harbour town early I bought a mini basket ball and we were playing keepers of. It was really great fun but the daay didn't go on for long enough, normally when i go the beach i go to my nan's place with a bright red patch of suburn on my back.

When I was about seven or eight my older sister Stephanie dressed up in some of my dad's old clothes. She dressed up in a freaky costume that made her look like a crazy axe murderer. When she was done scaring me she laughed and I ended up with a blood blister and one verrrry verrrrrry evil sister.

Last year I lost my writing book from year Four. In that book I wrote a long story that inspired me to start writing. The story 'I'm a Super hero' is what I'm re-writing for my goal, the origonal was better but this one I'm working on will have a chance to be finished.

Some time last year I can't remember when but I saw the funniest movie, Scary Movie. When my friend Patricia comes over we watch it and she laughs so hard every time. It's a movie you can sick of really quickly or not at all, but each time I see it most of the time I laugh harder. I especially love the "wazzuuup" scene. I recommend this movie to people who can handle extremely funny, a bit more then course language and people who have good ambulance cover, because this movie will leave you in stitches. 03-06-09
Today Miss Tonkin had a 'little experiment' with the netbooks. She had an INSANE idea to give the grade five's the net books for the day, but luckily not to take home. Thanks to Miss Tonkin I had a taste of being a grade five again, and quite frankly, it sucked. I think that we can be educated with out the netbooks but with them there is a wider variety of what we can do. If only the people who started this program could see some of the AMAZING work that can and has been made by both the grade fives and sixes using the netbooks, then I know for a fact that they would give the grade fives a chance next year to prove that the right decision is the decision to continue the 'One on One Netbook' program.

It has been about 3 months since the one on one laptops arrived. I am really grateful for the machines and really enjoy using mine. The programs that are on the netbooks are very interesting and enriching towards my education. I love the programs included on the netbooks especially Photo Story 3 for Windows. I love the different types of work I can produce on the netbooks, especially my Bushfires Photo story. I hope that the government change their decision about continuing the program. Their money doesn't get wasted and it is, honestly, worth every penny.
